BEST BET FEMINIST ART: Debby Kline, a prolific artist from Escondido who teams with her husband to do socially engaged work, has assembled an exhibition devoted to some of the artists central to the rise of feminist art in the 1970′s: Judy Chicago, Miriam Schapiro and UCSD professor emeritus Eleanor Antin. The exhibition, dubbed “Ms. Behavin’: Jewish Feminist Artists,” also includes selections by San Diegan Helen Redman, Vicki Leon and Ruth Weisberg, all of whom have confronted issues specific to women. The show remains on view through Feb. 25 at the Gotthelf Art Gallery in the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, 4126 Executive Drive, La Jolla. Call (858) 362-1154 or visit www.lfjcc.org.
